What kind of service does HaabaMedia offer?
HaabaMedia offers an interactive ad marketplace for both advertisers, publishers and Webmasters. We offer a transparent, open platform for stakeholders in the online media industry.
Who should use HaabaMedia?
There are two groups who should use HaabaMedia:
i. Advertisers, marketers, agencies and small business owners who are looking to promote their product or service on the internet. Not only would you know specifically which website you are advertising on, publishers can also contact you if they are interested in running your offers saving you time in looking for traffic.
ii. Webmasters and website owners who are looking to profit from advertising on their site, but do not wish to be bothered with the extra work involved in recruiting advertisers. Right now, there are more reasons for you to join the marketplace as you are able to see advertiser’s offers meaning you can run offers of your choice on your site.
Terms you should know
- CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impressions) your ad will be listed within the ad spot that you choose and for every view you will be charged
- CPC (Cost Per Click) only when user click on your ad you will be charged
- CTR (click-through rate) - number of clicks your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown
- ROI – Return on Investment.
- Pop-unders - ads displayed underneath a user’s browser, so when they close their current browser they will see the advertisements.
- Interstitial Ads - display advertisement between two pages of a website.
- Graphical Banners - images/ text which describes an advertiser’s website and/or the products and services they offer.
- Text banners - banners that are made up of text only which describes an advertiser’s website and/or the products and services they offer.
- Ad spaces - areas assigned by a publisher’s site for ad placement.
How much does it cost to join?
No, there absolutely no costs involved in becoming a publisher with the HaabaMedia network.

What is the minimum traffic level required for a website to be accepted into HaabaMedia?
To be accepted into the HaabaMedia network, websites have got to have a minimum of 10,000 unique visitors per month.
How do I become a HaabaMedia publisher?
To apply to become a HaabaMedia publisher, simply complete and submit the online application form. Also ensure that you read and agree to our Publisher Agreement and Privacy Policy before submitting your application.
As a publisher. how many accounts will I need?
You would only need 1 account, as you’ll have access to both advertiser’s and publisher’s area.
Do I have to create a new account for each website?
No, you can add as many websites and banners as you wish for the same account. It is even highly recommended.
What are the requirements for my website?
You need to provide us with the address of your website, not with a particular page, that is hosted under a root domain (e.g. http://www.domain.com ). The website address must not contain a page name, e.g. index.html.
Also, your website must be accessible and have a reasonable quantity of original content. It must also not have any illegal content, in particular, but not restricted to racist content, sexist or homophobic content, or content protected by copyright, or any link redirecting to illegal content.
What kind of ads can I sell?
You can sell pop-unders, interstitials graphical banners, text banners and text links. You can also sell customised ad formats.
How do I add an ad code to my site?
Once you create your ad zone you will be given a piece of code, which you will copy and paste to the top of your website’s source code that you’ve allocated the ad space. Or if your website is not managed by you, provide the code to your website administrator.
Do you accept adult content websites?
No, we do accept adult content or related websites.
How do I know when there is an ad to approve?
We will notify you by email when there is ad waiting for your approval.
Can I select which advertisers run campaigns on my site?
Yes. Once logged into your account interface, you are provided with access to approve/disapprove any ad campaigns.
In the instance you have approve an ad but don’t want to accept it any longer, please contact your account manager so we can help you settle this with the advertiser.
What does the number of Ad Spot mean?
Ad spot indicates how many banner spaces you’re allocated to the ad marketplace. All the ones that are approved are classify under active and all the spots that is waiting for approval or deleted are classify under inactive.
What does the number of Ad Campaigns mean?
The number of ad campaign means the number of advertisers that are currently running on your website. The number of pending campaigns means that you’ve selected to review the campaigns before they are active on your site and you would need to approve it. The approved campaigns are the ones that you’ve approve and is running on your website.
How much will I get paid?
You can set your own rates for the ad location that you are looking to list, and you will get paid 40-90% of the advertising revenues generated by your site.

Yes, you will have access to the reports of your ad campaign in your account area, once you are logged into your account interface.
